Preschool Graduation T-Shirt
Your preschooler has graduated and is ready to move on to kindergarten! After the little preschool graduation caps, gowns, and rolled up certificates go into the keepsake box, the Preschool Graduation T-Shirt will live on. Using your computer, your child’s graduation photo (or any cute pic), ink-jet printer, and heat transfer paper, you can create this special preschool graduation wearable keepsake.
Materials You Will Need
White t-shirt
Heat transfer paper (compatible with your printer—ink jet is best)
Iron
Your preschooler’s graduation photo
How to Make It
Step 1:
Wash, dry, and iron the t-shirt. Lay flat.
Step 2:
Load heat transfer paper into your printer.
Step 3:
Upload or scan your preschooler’s graduation photo onto your computer. Adjust the image size to fit your Preschool Graduation T-Shirt. Print onto the heat transfer paper using the reverse/mirror image feature. Type “I’m a 2007 Preschool Graduate!” in large, bold, fun font and centered. Print onto the heat transfer paper using the reverse/mirror image feature.
Step 4:
Place your preschooler’s photo transfer paper image face down onto the front of the t-shirt, underneath the collar. Iron and remove the backing. (Note: Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions on how long to leave the backing.) Allow to cool. Repeat the above step with your text transfer paper image, placing the words directly underneath your preschooler’s photo. Allow to cool.
Step 5:
Wash and dry the t-shirt again before wearing.
