Oatmeal Container Christmas Gift Box
This holiday season your preschooler can participate in the spirit of giving by making this creative Oatmeal Container Christmas Gift Box. Using an ordinary cardboard oatmeal container and some wrapping paper, your preschooler can fill this unique gift box with a handmade Christmas present, such as a Trinket Box Holiday Craft or Terra Cotta Pot Holiday Bell.
Materials You Will Need
Cardboard oatmeal container (without lid)
Christmas wrapping paper
White school glue
Festive Christmas ribbon
Tissue paper
Paper plate
Scissors
Hole punch
How to Make It
Step 1:
Place cardboard oatmeal container on a sheet of wrapping paper. Measure and cut enough paper to completely wrap the oatmeal container. Set the measured and cut wrapping paper aside.

After washing your preschooler's hands, place the wrapping paper around the oatmeal container. Allow to dry.
Step 4:
When the wrapped oatmeal container is completely dry, punch two holes across from each other on the top of the container. String the festive ribbon through the holes and tie, creating a fancy handle.
Step 5:
Place some of the tissue paper inside the Oatmeal Container Christmas Gift Box. After placing your handmade Christmas present inside, place more tissue paper on top of the present, creating a unique and creative Christmas gift any recipient is sure to love!
Additional Uses
Oatmeal containers can be wrapped with birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, or a variety of other special holiday wrapping papers!
