Snow Window Holiday Card

Materials You Will Need
White construction paperPiece of clear plastic
Fake snow powder or snowflake sprinkles
Tape
Glue
Ruler
Magic markers
Holiday stickers
Your preschooler’s photo
How to Make It
Step 1:Cut two 5x7 rectangles from the white construction paper. Cut a 3x5 rectangle “window” in the center of one of them.
Step 2:
Cut two 4x6 rectangles from the piece of clear plastic. Seal the sides and bottom together with the tape, leaving no spaces.
Step 3:
Drop your preschooler’s photo in between the two pieces of plastic. Sprinkle a small amount of fake snow powder or snowflake sprinkles between the front of the photo and the plastic. Tape the top together.
Step 4:
Glue the plastic covered photo to the inside of the card over the rectangular “window”.
Step 5:
Glue the two pieces of construction paper rectangles together, with the photo in plastic showing through the cut out “window”.
Step 6:
Decorate the front of the Snow Window Holiday Card with magic markers or holiday stickers. Give your preschooler’s homemade—and very special—holiday card to a loved one for Christmas!
Additional Uses
Glue a flat craft magnet to the back of this easy Snow Window Holiday Card to make a lovely Christmas refrigerator magnet. Or, display this creative and fun preschool holiday card as a photo frame, taping a piece of cardboard to the back of the card to prop it up.
