Apple for Teacher Preschool Gift Crafts

What teacher doesn’t love and appreciate the favorite symbol of teachers? Apples! While your preschooler can certainly surprise their teacher with a real apple on the first day of preschool, faux apples are just as fun and can be decorated and used as great teacher gifts! We recommend Faux Red Apples (featured below) for their bright and realistic appearance, the perfect touch for a wonderful back to school teacher gift.

Materials You Will NeedDifficulty Level 3 out of 5

Faux Red Apples
Various materials mentioned below

Teacher’s Apple WreathBuy at Amazon.com

Decorate a straw wreath for a beautiful classroom door or wall decoration. Simply glue a cluster of Faux Red Apples to the bottom center of the wreath. Wind apple-printed, striped, or plaid ribbon around the entire wreath, gathering it together in a large bow at the top.

Apple Ornament

Not just for Christmas, this apple ornament can be hung anywhere in the classroom. Simply write “Teacher” with shiny fabric paint on a Faux Red Apple, tie a small ribbon around the stem, creating a loop, and glue into place. Allow to dry.

Paper Mache Apple Box

Perfect for storing odds and ends, this back to school craft turns a plain paper mache box into an adorable classroom decoration. Let your preschooler paint the entire box and lid (inside and out) with green acrylic paint. Allow to dry and then let your preschooler use apple-shaped sponges dipped in red acrylic paint or apple stickers to decorate the box. Glue a Faux Red Apple to the top of the lid to create a unique and decorative handle.

Apple Grapevine Swag

Similar to the Teacher’s Apple Wreath, this simple craft uses a grapevine swag. Glue a cluster of Faux Red Apples to the center of the grapevine swag for a simply elegant door decoration.

Basket of Apples for Teacher

Simply paint an inexpensive woven basket with acrylic paint and allow to dry. Fill the basket with Faux Red Apples and tie an apple-printed, striped, or plaid ribbon to the top for a quick and easy preschool back to school teacher gift.
