Preschool Autumn Candy Jar Craft

Recycle a glass pickle jar to create this quick and simple Preschool Autumn Craft with the Stickopotamus -Jolees - Boutique Themed Simple Stickers: Fall Leaves. These autumn leaf stickers include a variety of beautiful fall colors that even the youngest preschooler can use to create this fall leaf sticker craft. Once your preschooler has applied the stickers, s/he can fill the jar with yummy fall candies. Makes a great autumn or Thanksgiving gift for preschool teacher!
Materials You Will Need
Stickopotamus -Jolees - Boutique Themed Simple Stickers: Fall Leaves
Orange acrylic craft paint
Paintbrush
Autumn ribbon
Large glass pickle jar
Newspaper
Step 1:
Wash clean a large glass pickle jar and lid. Dry the jar and lid thoroughly.
Step 2:
Place the newspaper on the table. Pour some of the orange acrylic craft paint into a dish and give your preschooler the paintbrush. Have your preschooler paint the top of the lid, covering it thoroughly.
Step 3:
Hand your preschooler the autumn leaf stickers. Tell him/her to decorate the jar by placing the stickers all around the jar (save one for the top of the lid).
Step 4:
Once the painted lid is completely dry, place the remaining sticker in the center of it.
Step 5:
Tie the autumn ribbon into a bow around the neck of the jar.
Step 6:
Fill the decorated jar with candy corn or fall chocolates and then screw the lid on. Display on your kitchen counter or give to your son or daughter’s preschool teacher as a gift!
