Materials You Will Need Difficulty Level 1 out of 5

Preschool Basic Cone Hats (use 12x18" green construction paper)
Star shaped cookie cutter
Cardboard box
2 or 3 Glue sticks
Gold glitter
Popsicle sticks
Magic markers
Holiday stickers
Paper tablecloth

Pre-Party Prep

Step 1:

Make Preschool Basic Cone Hats with large sheets of green construction paper. Make a few more than your RSVP list in case you get extra preschool guests (and adults will like them, too!)

Step 2:

Using the cookie cutter, trace and cut star shapes from the cardboard box. Glue the popsicle sticks to the stars (later to be inserted into the top of the cone hats). Allow the glue to dry before the party.

Step 3:

Spread the paper tablecloth on the table. Set out the cone hats, several glue sticks, magic markers, and glitter for your preschool guests to use.

How to Make It

Step 1:

Spread glue on both sides of the cardboard star. Sprinkle gold glitter all over the glue and shake off the excess. Insert the glittery gold star into the top of the hat.

Step 2:

Decorate the Christmas tree with the magic markers and stickers and it's ready to wear for the rest of the party!
