Trinket Box Holiday Craft

Preschoolers love to paint things, and this trinket box holiday craft is fun, quick, and easy enough for the youngest preschooler. Using an inexpensive wood trinket box (found at your local craft store for around $1.00), your preschooler can create a lovely gift for aunt or grandma.
Materials You Will Need

Unfinished wood box
Blue acrylic craft paint
Paintbrush
Silver glitter fabric paint
White felt square
School Glue
How to Make It
Step 1:
Trace the top of the box onto white felt square. Cut out and set aside.
Step 2:
Paint the entire box (inside and out) with blue paint. Allow to dry for at least an hour.
Step 3:
Spread glue evenly on the bottom of the inside. Press felt cut-out into the box.
Step 4:
With the glitter fabric paint, draw snowflakes on the top and sides of the box. Allow to dry overnight before wrapping as a present.
